They work closely with clients to assess their needs, create personalized organization systems, and implement practical solutions that help streamline daily routines, regain control of your space and ultimately enhance your overall well-being.
How long will it take to organize my space?
This is very dependent on the size and state of your space and what your goals are. Here are some estimates for decluttering and organizing:
Pantry: 3-10 hours
Kitchen: 10-15 hours
Bathroom: 3-6 hours
Garage: 16+ hours
Bedroom closet: 4-8 hours
How do I prepare for an organizing session?
The amount of time it takes to organize your space can be impacted by your readiness to participate. Organizing can be physically, mentally and even emotionally tiring, so it’s important to keep yourself well fed, get a good night’s sleep beforehand, and clear your day of potential interruptions. If you have kids at home, it will be very helpful to have arranged for prior care to ensure you can focus on the session.
Do
Get a good night’s sleep and keep yourself fed and hydrated.
Arrange your schedule to minimize distractions.
Think about your goals for the space you’ll be organizing.
Don’t
Tidy up your space beforehand! I want to see and move through your space the way you are living in it so I can give you the best and most successful solutions possible.
Buy organizing bins. I’d like to see what you have already and if you do need any, I will take measurements and can recommend ones to optimize your space. I can either shop for you, or send you a shopping list of what to buy.
Be embarrassed. I recognize that coming into your space and seeing how you live is a deeply personal process and can bring up feelings of guilt and shame. There are many reasons that can lead us to be disorganized and I’m not here to judge. I want to help you feel and live better in your space.
